CMMC Training - Mastering DoD Contract Security
Train at the CMMC to protect sensitive information from DoD contracts, understand maturity levels and pass your certification.
Training - Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
Learn CMMC principles, practices and processes to help organizations manage cybersecurity and ensure compliance with DoD requirements.
The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework is a verification mechanism designed to assess the maturity of organizations in protecting non-classified information such as Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Unclassified Controlled Information (IUIC). It is a new set of cybersecurity standards that embraces various cybersecurity standards, benchmarks and other good practices. It includes a number of processes and practices that are spread over five levels of cumulative certification.
The CMMC model is developed and managed by the Department of Defence (DoD) and is considered as the DoD's response to potential compromises of sensitive information residing on the systems and networks of the defence industrial base (DIB). The CMMC-AB, on the other hand, is the only authoritative source for the operationalization of CMMC assessments and training.
As in any field, the large number of security incidents also affected the defence industrial base and the defence supply chain (DoD). The DoD is aware that, in order to reduce the risk of national economic security and, in general, national security, it must focus on protecting its unclassified information. In this context, the DoD has published the CMMC framework which evaluates and improves the cybersecurity posture of organizations within the DoD contractor community. Since the CMMC is a standard on cybersecurity, CMMC certification will eventually be required for all DoD contractors, including small businesses, commercial contractors and other suppliers. CMMC training will help you learn about CMMC areas, practices and processes and understand how they can be applied in the DoD supply chain. In addition, these trainings will help you understand the CMMC certification process and prepare you for your role in the CMMC-AB ecosystem.
They will allow you to:
- Understanding the basic concepts, definitions and approaches of the CMMC model
- Understand the CMMC areas, capabilities, processes and practices applicable to each maturity level of the CMMC model
- Learning to interpret CMMC requirements in an organization's specific context
- Understanding the CMMC methodology and evaluation process at all levels
- Getting the expertise to help an organization implement and manage the requirements of the CMMC model
Our training is provided by experienced trainers who aim to help you expand your professional knowledge and improve the implementation and evaluation of CMMC requirements. PECB is also a licensed partner publisher (LPP) organization for the CMMC, and will develop training programs based on the CMMC-AB knowledge set.
PECB experts will help you simplify your certification process and obtain one of the PECB certifications.
